The data usage breakdown can help to better understand and manage the data usage. Data usage is affected by activities such as watching live video, uploading recordings, and sending events to the portal.

To view the data usage of a dashcam:

1.  

   From the Surfsight Portal dashboard, click Devices on the navigation bar.

   The list of dashcams appears.

   

2. Use the Search bar to find the name of the dashcam or select a group name to find the relevant dashcam. The list of views expands, enabling you to see the front (road-facing) and rear (in-cab) cameras, as well as any available auxiliary cameras.

   Click the three dots next to that dashcam.

   

4. Click DATA USAGE.

   A window opens with the data usage breakdown from the live video, video events, recordings uploaded, and record streaming.
